AI in Education to Grow by 50% in Five Years

According to a new report the use of artificial intelligence in education will grow by 50% in the next five years. The report mentions the popularity of AI-powered educational games.

The Growth of AI in Education

A new report says artificial intelligence in education is expected to grow rapidly in the US between 2017 and 2021, by as much as 48%. Software is already capable of tailoring instruction to students and identifying knowledge gaps based on interaction. For example, check out learning apps such as Anki and Cerego which maintain a database which records your study sessions and prompts you for programmed reviews. (personal observation). In the near future students will be learning in neural networks which will let learners interact with machines much the same way as they interact with other humans.
