I have to keep a record of everything I create in my job as an instructional designer. For the first few years after I got this job I put all of it in a huge notebook and carried it to my supervisor when it was time for her to review my past year’s performance. A few years ago I switched to building a website in Google Sites or WordPress and putting digital copies of everything I accomplished during the year in it. This works much better for me and my manager. It takes a lot of work to create this digital record of everything I do during the year, but it’s not so bad if you work on it constantly throughout the year.
