I have to keep a record of everything I create in my job as an instructional designer. For the first few years after I got this job I put all of it in a huge notebook and carried it to my supervisor when it was time for her to review my past year’s performance. A few years ago I switched to building a website in Google Sites or WordPress and putting digital copies of everything I accomplished during the year in it. This works much better for me and my manager. It takes a lot of work to create this digital record of everything I do during the year, but it’s not so bad if you work on it constantly throughout the year. Essentially it says in order to learn you have to believe that your mind can grow and expand its powers through perseverance. I read her book, Mindset, a few months ago.
